Only Georgia Criminal Histories are obtainable and require a 24 hour waiting period.

To obtain a criminal history, a signed consent form is required for the individual and must be accompanied with a valid State or US Military Identification card.

On-line Accident Reports


The Lawrenceville Police Department charges no fee for parties involved in a motor vehicle accident.  However, this report is available On-line through Open Portal Solutions' "buycrash.com".  Open Portal Solutions has entered into a contract with the Georgia DOT to manage the state's central accident report repository.  There is a cost for an On-Line report of $6.00 as a processing fee and is generated by Open Portal Solutions.  The City of Lawrenceville receives no revenue from On-line accident report purchases, nor control their marketing practice.

Open Records


In accordance with 2012 changes in the Georgia Open Records Act, specifically O.C.G.A. 50-18-71 (b), the City of Lawrenceville adopted a resolution on June 4, 2012, to designate Open Records Officers for the City of Lawrenceville and all departments thereof.  Effective immediately, all requests made under the Open Records Act shall be made upon these designated officers.
