The Lawrenceville Police looks for men and women that have the ability to multi-task and handle the stress that is involved with a Police Communications atmosphere.  While on duty, the Communications Officer must be able to accept the responsibility of knowing that part of each officer's safety lies in their hands.  If you believe you are up to the challenge in becoming a member of the Lawrenceville Police Communication Team, look below to see if you qualify and fill out the attached application.

 

             To qualify for a position as a Communications Officer:

 

                          1. Must be 18 years of age, before making application

                          2. High School Graduate or GED

                          3. Valid GA Driver's License

                          4. Ability to Pass the Following:

                                a) Initial Background Investigation

                                b) Oral Interview

                                c) Accuracy Typing Evaluation

                                d) Psych Evaluation

                                e) Polygraph Evaluation

                                f) Physician's Evaluation "including drug screening"
