The Lawrenceville Police Depart. is in the process of obtaining their Georgia Law Enforcement Certification. This certification program is a progressive and time-proven way of helping law enforcement agencies calculate and improve their overall performance of their duties. It lies in the promulgation of standards that many agencies are performing today. Obtaining our certification will not only benefit this agency, but our citizens and merchants will know that the officers responding to their emergencies are the finest in the State of Georgia.

The Lawrenceville Police Department is getting a new look! The Lawrenceville City Council has approved the plans to build a new police department on the corner of Jackson Street and Scenic Hwy.
